Steve and I went to his co-worker's wedding on Labor Day weekend at an aquarium near Philadelphia. The fact that their wedding was at an aquarium was so perfect for them because they both love scuba diving and the groom actually proposed to the bride during a scuba expedition! Their wedding was totally unique and really showed off the couple's fun personalities. For one, the ceremony was in front of a shark tank (that also had a sea turtle!) and their comedian friend officiated. I don't think I've giggled that much during a wedding ceremony. Their cake topper was a groom climbing up the side of the cake, with a bride standing triumphantly at the top. This was a nod to their competitiveness, since they have their own version of the Summer Olympics every summer. The most unique and impressive part had to be the slide show. Check it out!
Hilarious, right? This slide show has made its way around the Internet, most notably on AOL.com. It's a great example of taking a wedding tradition and making it your own!
I'm a 20-something Brooklyn girl who, after seven years of dating, married her college sweetheart on 10/11/10 in a cranberry-lemonade, daytime fall wedding :)
