Hi!

I know I've been MIA lately but I have a good excuse! School has started up and I've been so overwhelmed with once again being a full-time student with a full-time job, I haven't had a free minute to collect my wedding-related thoughts for this blog. (But our wedding is still on my brain and my blog obsession is still going strong!) I do have some posts forthcoming, including a four-part series that will culminate in the reveal of what's in this little metal box:

Ohhh, the suspense!

Steve and I also have appointments in a couple of weeks to visit our venue for the second time, and to meet with the in-house florist. So I'll be posting some of my centerpiece ideas and other inspiration pictures I've been collecting.

Lastly, our one year mark is almost here! On the one hand, we still have a crazy amount of time, but we have some projects we'd like to get done before the end of the year. Mainly, our wedding website (which Steve is going to build from scratch...it's so handy to be marrying a tech guy!) and figuring out what we're doing for our save-the-dates (which will likely lead to another post in my Going Green series.) Finally, we want to take some engagement photos with our photographer, Windau, which we're super excited about! We'll probably get those done in the next month or so, when the fall foliage finally hits Brooklyn.

So, I have a lot left to share! In the meantime, I'll leave you with a color board I found on 100 Layer Cake with our cran-lemony color scheme. Yummy.
