Obsession

I have become OBSESSED with looking at wedding blogs. Seriously, I can't stop checking 'em, every single day, several times a day. It's crazy! I know many brides-to-be have this exact same "problem" but I think I might be overloading myself with all-things-wedding. I have 17 months to go, so if I'm already bombarding myself with wedding things now, how will I feel when I'm only a month away?? Burnt out??

On the other hand, it's helpful because now that we got some of the initial planning stuff out the way, now is the time to gather inspiration, think of ideas and let them brew in my head. I can scout out wedding invitations (Eco-friendly ones, of course!) but I don't really need to think about ordering/making them just yet. Same goes for flowers, decorations, the cake... I know I want to do some DIY projects so when I see one I like, I bookmark it.

I also like wedding blogs over wedding mags because I feel like I'm hearing from women who are in the same boat (or were in the same boat) as me, instead of a publication that imposes it's wedding advice on me. Not that I don't appreciate wedding mags; I'd just rather learn from others' experiences and get the "real" deal.

Anyway, I'll cut myself some slack on the wedding blog obsession. It's just too fun to stop.
