I'm feeling calm as I write this but I've been going back and forth between feeling zen and freaked out/anxious about little things that come up. But the wedding planning is pretty much over. My mom and I picked up my dress on Sunday (it still fits!), we dropped everything off to the venue on Monday, and now all that's left is to wrap our bridal party gifts, pack for the honeymoon (which I still need to tell you about), print our vows/readings and make sure everyone knows what they need to do and where they need to be this weekend.
I hope to write a couple of more posts before the big day (and I'm scheduling some for when I'm away) but in the meantime, here are a few things I've been meaning to share:
- Our Final Count: We invited 142 people and our final number is 108. That's 34 no's and a 76% acceptance rate. Not bad! We are bummed about some of the no's but happy that so many of our family and friends will be there on our wedding day. I can't wait to see everyone in one room!
- Rehearsal Dinner Invitations: After DIYing our wedding invitations, we decided to give our printer a break and order affordable, customizable invites from this Etsy seller. We were able to choose the colors and wording, and the seller sent two digital proofs before printing them. I love how they turned out. They're printed on linen paper and have a shimmery envelope. We saved time and spent very little money.
- Program Inspiration: I'll show you the final product after the wedding but here is the inspiration for our ceremony programs. I didn't want to do a booklet so when I saw this program poster idea, I was all about it.
Fun, right? And eco-friendly because it's just one piece of paper! We created all of the paper at our wedding (programs, escort cards, table numbers and menus) and I'm really excited about all of them. Can't wait to show you after our guests have seen them at the wedding!
- Weather: I've been obsessing about the weather all week, of course. As of right now, our wedding weather will be perfect! I really hope the forecast doesn't change. Fingers crossed...
{source}I think that's it for now. I'll definitely check in with a Last-Post-As-A-Miss on Sunday. I'm working for the rest of this week but will have the two days before the wedding off.
It's so hard to believe it's already almost October 11th. Yippee!!!

Yay! So exciting! And I love your program inspiration - I've never seen anything like that, and I read a million wedding blogs :) Keeping fingers crossed that your weather will hold up - it's still too early to see ours.
ReplyDeleteAw, that's so exciting! I love the rehersal dinner invites! I saved the etsy seller in case we choose to order from them! :)

I'm so excited for you! It sounds like everything is well-organized and coming together perfectly. Enjoy your last few days as a miss and defintiely enjoy the excitement. I'd never felt so excited in my entire life as I did in the days right before our wedding.
