It was such a pretty day today, and on my way back from dropping off a book at the library during my lunch break, I stopped by Magnolia Bakery to treat myself to a cupcake. I got a pumpkin one and it was soo yummy. Steve and I have decided we want to give out tasty treats as our wedding favors. Everyone loves sweets, right? Or, at the very least, most everyone would appreciate a little snack after the wedding, after all the dancing and drinking during the reception.
[PLUS, it's green! I mean, in the it's-food-so-it'll-be-eaten-and-not-wasted sort of way. Maybe we can even get containers made out of recycled paper...hmm.]
So, now we're searching for the best, tastiest, yet still affordable sweet favors for our guests. The greatest part about this research? It's an excuse to go around trying lots and lots of cookies! I think One Girl Cookies in Brooklyn will be our first stop. I've passed by the bakery a bunch of times and heard good things about it. Their website says they do party favors, and seriously, how pretty is their packaging?
