I promised my list of the ten things that make me happy. I'll make it short and sweet. Here they are, in no particular order:
1. The people in my life--Steve (of course), my parents, friends and family members--I love the people I'm surrounded with and they all make me happy!
2. Books. I work in book publishing and am in grad school for creative writing. I love reading and writing and without books, I'm not sure what I would do or be.
3. Glee! I just *heart* this show SO much. It reminds me of my high school chorus and college a Cappella days... (I'm sad the new episodes don't return until April, though!)

4. Puppies! When I was growing up, I had a miniature poodle named Butternut. Steve and I really want to get a pup of our own but we have to wait until we have the time to take on the responsibility...and who knows when that'll be!
5. Broadway. This is one of the reasons I would hate to live anywhere other than New York. I love love love Broadway, especially musicals. Steve and I saw Next to Normal recently and we're seeing Ragtime on Christmas eve with my mom!
6. Brooklyn. Yeah, Manhattan's cool and all that, but I love me some Brooklyn. There's Prospect Park, the gorgeous brownstones I wish we could afford to buy, cute cafes, indie book stores, people walking their dogs and strolling along with their babies. It's a community and I'm happy Steve and I are calling it home for now.
7. Blogging. I mentioned above that I love writing and I especially love being part of this online community! You guys make me happy for visiting and caring about my wedding planning!
8. Pictures. You know, for the memories.
9. Sunshine!
10. Dried Mangoes. This is random, but true! They're so tasty :o)
