My best deal EVER!

Remember when I told you about the Tiffany's wedding band I'd wanted to buy when we got closer to the wedding?

Well, I bought it.

Why did I buy it so early, when we still have over 10 months until the wedding?

Because I was able to get it 50% off.

That's right.

FIFTY-PERCENT OFF!

My cousin is working at Tiffany's for the holidays and she gets an employee discount. Over Thanksgiving, I asked her if her discount would work for wedding bands. She checked, and found out that her usual 30% discount would apply. Sweet! I calculated, and that equaled $600 of savings, not including tax. Then she found out that she could get 50% off if I bought it on a particular day. Steve and I quickly transferred the money from our savings to my checking account, and I went with my cousin to purchase the ring last week.

Total savings: over $1,000!!!!

I LOVE the way the rings look together and this was seriously the best deal EVER!

(Needless to say, my cousin is getting a VERY nice Christmas gift this year!)
