Happy!

Hey guys!

I handed in my final paper of the semester so I'm officially on break from grad school! Woohoo! (I'm not off from work though, but I'm taking off between December 22nd and the new year, and I cannot wait!) I have a bunch of things to post about but I'm so burnt out and tired from paper-writing, I need a break! I'll be back next week :o)

In the meantime, thank you to Jillreigh at Once Upon a Dream for passing along the Happy 101 award! You're too sweet! I'm supposed to list 10 things that make me happy but I can't even get myself to concentrate on that (ha) so I'll post my list on Monday!

In other exciting news, I won 50 free save-the-date cards from Minted, through With This Ring's contest!! In the midst of my end-of-semester stress, it was a really nice surprise to find out that I won! Especially because I LOVE their designs and even planned on using them as inspiration for our save-the-date email. Now that we have these, here's our new plan: We're still going to send a save-the-date email to our friends and family members who frequently use their email and will be more likely to visit and use our wedding website. We'll then send the 50 free cards to everyone else (i.e. the guests who are less computer-savvy). We're going to mimic the design of the printed cards in the email, so they don't seem so disjointed (not that anyone would know except for us, but still...) For example, we'll use the same photo and wording in each. The nice thing about the Minted cards is that they can be printed on recycled paper, so we can still be eco-conscious on that front. I'm pretty psyched!
