Being a Bridesmaid: MOH L is Married!!

My maid of honor (which should now be "matron" of honor but L thinks matron makes her sound old, so we're sticking with maid) is MARRIED!!! The wedding was on Saturday and it was awesome. With the exception of one snafu--that was handled quickly and turned out okay--it went off without a hitch. L looked so beautiful in her dress and everyone had a really great time. I'll share more about it soon, but here's a picture of me and L at the reception.

L and her new hubby (!) are off to Hawaii for their honeymoon. They're going to have such an amazing time and I'm so happy for them!

I can't believe she's married! We've been planning our weddings side by side for over a year and until recently, they seemed so far away. Now her wedding is over and that means ours is just around the corner. Crazy!

  4. Congrats! I love both your dresses. Your dress looks a lot like the ones I chose for my bridesmaids -- is it Levkoff 904?

  5. @Dancy: It's actually Priscilla of Boston style 1612. It's a popular silhouette for b-maid dresses though and was really comfortable!

  8. Pretty pretty pretty! I have also always hated the term "matron of honor." It seems more appropriate for my mom than for my younger sister!
