Our Thank You Cards

I interrupt my recaps to show you our thank you card! I wanted to get them in the mail by the New Year. With the help of Steve, who was awesome enough to write the notes for the guests on his side, I made my goal.

In terms of the design, I knew I wanted it to include one or more of our professional photos. When we received the DVD of photos from our photographer, I immediately created a card on Shutterfly. I ended up putting three photos into one of their existing templates. Here's what I came up with:


I'm really happy with how it came out. The bottom photo is one of our photo-booth shots that we took during the reception (more to come!). Many of our guests have let us know that they loved the cards and the personal messages they contained.

It's nice to have the thank you notes out of the way, and to know our guests appreciated them. :)

    I love it! We didn't create a photo card for our "thank you" cards, but we did for Christmas, and I loved the way it turned out. Shutterfly is the best!

    they are beautiful! what a fun treat for your guests to get in the mail :-) our goal was Dec 1st (I wanted two weeks before I sent the Christmas cards on Dec 15th) and we met it! Feels so good to have them done :-)
