Our Cran-Lemon Wedding: The Guys Get Ready

While the girls and I got our hair and makeup done in our hotel suite, Steve was getting ready with the guys in a suite downstairs. They had a slower morning and were able to take advantage of the hotel's breakfast buffet. Steve helped my dad pick up Mr. S (my hair stylist) after his car issue early in the morning, so the start to his day ended up being a bit frantic. But that didn't prevent him from having a huge smile on his face!

My groom :)

Groomsman Mr. M tying his cranberry tie that my mom made. The color matched the spiced wine bridesmaid's dresses perfectly. They wore their own black suits and looked great.

Steve's things and our rings on top of our day's schedule from our DOC.

Our wedding bands, ready to be worn for a lifetime!

Groomsman Mr. J, who was in charge of holding the rings during the ceremony.

My father-in-law looking spiffy.

Steve with his younger brother and dad. Not sure why Steve's tie wasn't tied at this point!

Cuff links time.

Steve with the important men in his life!

Our photographer left the boys' room before they were all fully dressed with their boutonnieres in place, so here's a photo of Steve in full attire in the garden:

He looked amazing! But I might be biased :)

Here are close ups of the bouts:

Steve's bout had a single yellow calla lily with hypericum berries. I thought it looked really elegant.

The groomsmen had a single yellow rose with hypericum berries.

Next up: I get into my dress and become a bride!

Catch up!

  1. Awesome pictures! The guys got ready for our wedding on their own at a different location, and they didn't take any photos. :(
