Happy Valentine's Day! What a perfect day for me to tell about you our first look, one of my most favorite (and romantic) moments of our wedding day.
Before I get to the photos, is anyone else a Glee fan like I am? Did you see the wedding episode where Kurt's dad married Finn's mom? I loved it! I may have even cried. :) The Glee cast sang and danced down the aisle. The song was "Marry You" by Bruno Mars, which I hadn't heard before seeing the show. When I walked outside the hotel to meet Steve for our first look, I was thrilled with the fact that it was sunny and unseasonably warm at 70+ degrees. Exactly one year prior, the weather was equally nice and I even wrote a blog post asking the weather to repeat itself on our wedding day. I was so glad it did. I felt so lucky and ready to see my hubby-to-be.
Steve was waiting patiently in the garden, his signature smile on his face the whole time.
Here I come!
I tapped him on the shoulder...
...he turned around...
...and he was SO happy to see me too! Never had I seen him overcome with such emotion, except for maybe when he proposed.
He admired my dress, which he hadn't seen before.
And of course we smooched once or twice.
Woo! We're getting married!
Sigh. What an awesome moment. And the day was just getting started! Next up: Steve and I have a photo shoot in the garden...

I've seen a lot of "first looks" in pictures and yours are just so precious, probably one of my favorites! :) Love how he has a smile plastered on his face the whole time! You can tell he really was in awe of your dress and the way you looked! :)
