Image from here.Steve's family is all from Haiti but his immediate family lives in the United States and Canada now. But he has other family members still living in Haiti. Luckily, they were all able to be reached and are all okay. His parents do know people who have died because of this tragedy, and of course there are other families who have not been as lucky as Steve's. If you are interested in helping out, here's an article which lists some things you can do.

What a beautiful way to help in a horrible situation. I am so glad his family is safe, it is so tragic.
ReplyDeleteI’m so glad his family is OK. One of my close friends and groomsmen has a lot of family in Haiti, and found out that a couple of his relatives were pulled from rubble a couple days ago and are fortunately doing all right. But there are so many he can’t reach.

ReplyDeleteWow what a great post!!! I think Wyclef is doing something as well, a text message donation type thing. I'm very happy that his family is okay and saddened that the tragedy touched friends of his family.
