I mentioned back in the beginning of this blog that I absolutely LOVE hydrangeas and this shade of purple is my favorite color. (My bedroom when I was still living at home was that exact shade. I miss it, but didn't think subjecting Steve to purple walls in our apartment together would be fair, ha.)
So why am I not using purple in our wedding? Mainly because it's going to be fall and this shade of purple seems so spring/summery. That, and I also really love our cranberry-lemonade combination.
But that wreath is so darn pretty!
Girl, all those rules can go out the window! If you want purple...have purple. Do you think people will storm out in disgust? LOL! Have your purple...and decorate with it too!
ReplyDeleteOh, I know that. It's just me not wanting to do purple. To me, it doesn't fit in with the fall foliage I hope will be present on wedding day. I know everyone else could care less! I'm happy with the colors I've chosen...and maybe purple can be used elsewhere (rehearsal dinner? bridal shower? just to decorate my apartment? lol)
